Information security is imperative to every enterprise, with high visibility at the board level. Security practitioners who invest in valuable certifications are important assets and rewarded accordingly.

“ISACA credentials are a key differentiator for technology professionals because they demonstrate a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise to successfully navigate today’s challenging global environment,” Ashley Holmes, CISA, CRISC, CISM, the governance and compliance manager at Delta Air Lines, said.

Global Knowledge, a leading IT training organization, has named the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA®), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC™) and Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM®) certifications from ISACA® 3 of the highest-paying certifications in the IT industry. The credentials placed 7th, 4th and 3rd on the list, respectively.

According to Global Knowledge, on average, CISM holders earn US$148,622 per year. CRISC holders earn an average of US$146,480, and CISA holders earn an average salary of US$132,278.

“My ISACA certifications have served me well by providing professional credibility and are an essential investment in my professional development and career,” Holmes added. The ISACA certification community is vast. In the past year, CISA has surpassed more than 150,000 credential-holders and CISM surpassed 50,000 credential-holders. CRISC, introduced in 2010, has more than 25,000 credential-holders.

Global Knowledge will release the results of the entire 2020 IT Skills and Salary Survey later this year. To learn more about ISACA’s credentialing program, visit the Certifications page of the ISACA website.
