As the IT landscape continues to evolve as a result of innovation and new technologies, it is more important than ever for practitioners to stay abreast of up-to-date information. The Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT®) certification from ISACA® has been upgraded to support practitioners with the knowledge they need. The new job practice will account for data privacy and governance laws, focusing on information governance and big data.
The number of job practice Areas has also been reduced from 5 to 4 to remove obsolete requirements and focus on current trends. New concepts have been added, particularly related to information governance, to reflect emerging technologies.
The CGEIT exam with the current content outline is available for practitioners until 28 June. The exam will transition to include the new content on 2 July.
